Class DescriptionsPurple Yoga offers classes for students of all levels. Our goal is to help you realize your full potential--whether you’re trying yoga for the first time or you’ve been practicing for years. These classes are physically challenging, so it's important to work at your own pace and be patient. Remember, progress comes with practice.
Our classes include the vinyasa form which integrates breath with movement. This dynamic, flowing style is a powerful system that utilizes asana (postures), pranayama (breath), and meditation to leave you feeling revitalized and relaxed.
Blue
Build your foundation in Blue. This set sequence includes classic poses with a slower pace. Teachers give detailed instructions on each pose to provide a better understanding of its key components. The first part of class includes longer-held standing and balancing poses; the second part includes seated and twisting poses.

Expand your practice in Blue 2.0—10 minutes longer than the Blue Series and incorporating more of a variety of poses.

Red
Challenge yourself in Red. This intense and energizing workout builds on the Blue Series and includes inversions and arm-balancing poses. This class is great for weight loss and will help improve strength, stamina, and flexibility. Be prepared to work hard, sweat, and have fun.

Stretch and strengthen in Black. This demanding series of postures works the muscles, ligaments, and joints in a specific sequence, acting synergistically and cumulatively. Class includes breathing excercises (pranayama). No Sun Salutations, more Iyengar style than flow.

Get ready for a new flow with the Green series. This all level class will incorporate a wide variety of poses, include music, arm balances and inversions. Class includes breathing excercises (pranayama). Slower Flow without Sun Salutations.

Take your practice to another level in Purple. Students are encouraged to use an intelligent and intuitive approach to find their unique expression of the postures. This class is lead with very little instruction, so intermediate and advanced students only.

Restore the mind and body in this gentle series. Class will incorporate the use of blocks and blankets and include a luxurious final relaxation.

Calm the mind and release physical discomfort in our meditation class. Class begins with 15-20 minutes of yoga followed by guided meditation and a final relaxation.

Community classes are not sold online and must be purchased at the studio.
Private
Get one-on-one attention in a private yoga session with any of our skilled instructors. No experience is required; we teach all skill levels and offer traditional yoga, restorative yoga, and prenatal yoga. We can come to you, or you can practice at our studio.
$95/hour, each additional half hour $30
Add $15 for each additional person
Add $55 for an in-home private lesson
